Jean Lea Johnson was born
and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The youngest of seven children,
she grew up on Patrick Street in Corktown, in a house that was nestled
into the Niagara Escarpment, backing into the forest. Nature is a large
part of Jean's life.
Jean attended Queen Victoria Public School, Central High, Brock University and McMaster University.
Paintings often tell a story
Paint falling, expressing an ocean of tears from the eyes of someone; or the image of an old man repairing a child's doll. There is much to be said in a painting.
Artistry
My love; passion; and contentment in this world where there are no guarantees.
